Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and LFK Entertainment ("we", "us") about your use of BarBeam (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Who can use BarBeam

You must be at least 18 and have a work relationship with a bar or restaurant that uses the App, or be invited by one. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens on your account.

2. What BarBeam does

BarBeam helps teams schedule shifts, offer and pick up shifts, request time off, chat, receive announcements and count guests at the door. We may add, change or remove features over time.

3. Shift pickups and money

The App lets coworkers offer or add amounts of money as an incentive for taking a shift. BarBeam does not process, hold or transfer any money. Any payment is a private arrangement between the people involved and the venue, and it is up to them to settle it and to follow the venue's rules and applicable law. We are not responsible for disagreements about pay, shifts, time off or scheduling. Those are decisions made by your venue's managers.

4. Your content and conduct

You are responsible for what you post. You agree not to:

• harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone, or post unlawful, hateful or sexually explicit content;
• share other people's private information without their permission;
• impersonate anyone, or access accounts or data that are not yours;
• interfere with the App, attempt to break its security, or use it to send spam.

Managers and owners can remove content and deactivate people at their venue. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.

5. The banned list and other venue records

Managers may keep records such as a banned list. Venues are solely responsible for what they enter, for its accuracy, and for following the laws about it. Do not enter information about a person unless you have a legitimate reason to.

6. Ownership

You keep ownership of the content you create. You give us and your venue permission to store and display it as needed to run the App. The App itself, its design and its software belong to us and are protected by law.

7. Your account

You agree that authorized BarBeam staff may access your organization's data, and make changes on your behalf where needed, to provide setup, maintenance and support.

You can delete your account at any time in the App under Profile → Delete my account. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your information.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without promises that it will always be available, on time, or free of errors. Shift reminders, capacity alerts and other notifications depend on your phone, network and settings, and may be delayed or missed. Please do not rely on the App as your only way to check your schedule or to monitor safety limits such as venue capacity.

9. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost wages, missed shifts or lost profits, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $100. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

10. Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do; continuing to use the App means you accept the new terms. You may stop using the App at any time, and we may suspend or end access if these terms are broken.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
